My One and Only Official Synopsis
My One and Only is set in the 1950s when the glamorous Anne Deveraux (Zellweger) leaves her philandering band leader husband Dan (Bacon) and takes her two teenage sons on a drive down the Eastern seaboard from city to city in a quixotic search for a wealthy man to support them. Told from the perspective of the younger son, George, (Lerman) an old soul with Holden Caulfield wit, this heartfelt family comedy unfolds as they make their way across the country, eventually landing in Hollywood, where a new life seems possible.
